După luni bune de pauză, am scos puţin alienul de la naftalină.
Am instalat prin USB imaginea AR-P din 27.01.2014

Pro :
- meniuri bine structurate, intuitive
- skin default plăcut, are informaţii suficiente
- per ansamblu o imagine destul de reuşită, probabil cea mai bună care mi-a trecut prin mână

Contra :
- din păcate pe canalele cu SR mare (ex. Discovery HD de pe 1W), incă apar sporadic artefacte pe imagine; un lucru bun ar fi că imaginea işi revine de la sine, nu este necesară schimbarea canalului
- caracterele subtitrării sunt grosiere, zimţate
- jucându-mă prin meniurile SoftCam "am reuşit" să obţin un ecran verde

Alte info :
- setări audio/subtitles = buton roşu
- input extension = buton albastru
- emu se alege din buton albastru, Alternative SoftCam Manager
- oscam config = /var/keys
- oscam bin = /usr/bin/cam
- nu este definită parolă default pentru telnet

Nu am apucat să testez media player-ul sau alte servicii.

Important pentru cei care folosesc imaginea AR-P : default, telnetul nu cere parolă.

Pentru cei cu porturi deschise :

enable telnet password

in /etc/init.d/telnetd remove

-- -l /bin/autologin

run passwd and set new password
reboot

Altfel spus, in fişierul telnetd din /etc/init.d/ , trebuie eliminat "-- -l /bin/autologin" . Apoi definiţi o nouă parolă cu comanda passwd după care daţi reboot.


Mai simplu, inlocuiţi fişierul telnetd din /etc/init.d/ cu acest fişier. Atenţie, fişierul telnetd are atribut 755. După inlocuie definiţi o nouă parolă cu comanda passwd după care daţi reboot.

O imagine bine structurată, meniuri standard E2 , uşor de intuit. Se mişcă mai rapid in meniuri şi zapp, inclusiv la boot (cu aproximativ 10 secunde) faţă de imaginea AR-P.
Cam-urile şi alte setări utile sunt grupate in HDMU Center.



In meniul Plugins avem butonul verde pentru Download Plugins. Aici se găsesc ... de toate pentru toţi : setting, picons, emus, skins, tools etc
Fişierele cu setări pentru OSCam sunt in locaţia standard /var/keys
Bin-ul este in /usr/emu iar scriptul aferent in /usr/emu/start




In meniul SoftCam Control alegeţi Autostart on (buton albastru)




Cei tentaţi de overclocking nu au fost uitaţi. Atenţie, dacă alegeţi valori prea mari fără să aveţi montat un sistem de răcire suplimentar riscaţi arderea procesorului.

La Menu/Setup/System/User Interface putem alege şi show second infobar. Dacă apăsăm tasta info de două ori, vor fi afişate informaţii suplimentare :

- buton galben : setări audio şi subtitles
